A recipe is circulating on Instagram for a smoothie that is supposed to contribute to vaginal health. Special soaps used for a fresh scent are not always a good idea, because they can really mess up your pH levels. A smoothie that contributes to a healthy vagina does sound very useful though.

The recipe

  • 1 shot of apple cider vinegar
  • 120 ml coconut water
  • 80 ml pure cranberry juice
  • juice of half a lime
  • a handful of frozen pineapple chunks

Throw all ingredients in a blender to mix a fresh-sweet, pink smoothie. Poor in your favorite glass and enjoy!

Does it really work?

Getting immediate results after one smoothie is a bit too much to ask, but the ingredients can indeed have a positive effect on the overall health of your vajayjay. Apple cider vinegar is antimicrobial and contributes to a healthy pH value. And cranberry and lime juice also contribute to an infection-free vagina. In this respect, you can especially think of keeping bladder infections at bay. Last but not least; coconut water.
