What You Need to Know About Squirting

By Rebecca, 18.11.2019

Squirting is an amazing thing to discover. Be patient and learn about your body and its miracles.

What is Squirting?
We’re going to talk about squirting! This is when a liquid is ejected from a small opening in a thin, fast stream. When we talk about sexual squirting, we are talking about an expulsion of fluid by the paraurethral ducts during an orgasm. Well, typically squirting is linked with orgasms but it can be an independent event.

There is no actual standard quantity of fluid that qualifies as ‘squirting’ or not. Sometimes it looks like the big stream in porn videos, and sometimes it is a small enough quantity that you might not even notice. The main takeaway message from this article will be that there is no wrong way to squirt.

If you’re worried about squirting, we’d like to take this opportunity to let you know that there is absolutely nothing wrong with any form of ejaculation. The only problem with this sexual response is that there is a lack of information available! This lack of information probably stems from the fact that female pleasure is often dismissed as unnecessary and any sexual acts should be solely to pleasure a male.  If women are enjoying themselves, there is a great resistance to disprove this or to shame them. This is why people are still denying that the G-spot exists. Like… seriously? The G-spot exists and squirting is NOT urine.

Is it Pee?
Whether ‘female ejaculation’ consists of urine or not is constantly trying to be proven or opposed by scientists. However, people who do squirt will vouch that it is not pee. The liquid comes out clear (never yellow) and it does not smell or taste like urine.

When you look up studies to prove whether or not people are squirting urine, there is one study that pops up. There was a study in France that tested SEVEN women. They discovered that there was a chemical component of urine in the ejaculated fluid AS WELL AS prostate specific antigen. The media picked up on the ‘component of urine’ and just dismissed everything else about the study, including the fact that it was a bunch of men studying only seven women.

If you delve deeper into Google, you’ll read about how the Skene’s gland produces a liquid that contains a small concentration of urea, creatinine, prostate specific antigen and a few other things like glucose, fructose and prostatic acid phosphatase. The Skene’s gland is located near the urethra and is made of a tissue that is similar to a prostate gland.

How to Squirt
Some people start squirting from their first orgasm while others never squirt. Sometimes you just need to learn a few tricks in order for your body to visually ejaculate. You should definitely read a few articles on how to squirt. There can be some pretty great tips from people who have learned this magical function.

First, you need to be at ease. You can empty your bladder beforehand and set a towel underneath you in order to feel less stressed. Once you become aroused, you should target your G-spot as it tends to play a major role in squirting.

The G-spot is located about 1.5-2 inches inside the vagina on the upper wall (closest to the belly button). You might be able to find it more easily when you’re already aroused as it tends to enlarge.  Using a sex toy that is meant to target your G-spot is a great way to help find it, and can be a great way to pleasure yourself.

While stimulating your G-spot you might start to feel a build up of pleasure. The build up might start to make you feel like running to the bathroom to pee, but don’t! You won’t pee! Just when you feel like you’re about to reach your point of no return, push your orgasm muscles a little bit as if you’re releasing them. You might not be able to squirt the first few times and that is okay. It is possible that you might not be able to squirt or your body might squirt out small quantities. This is totally normal and there is nothing wrong with that at all.

One of the biggest hurdles for squirting is the lack of information about it and the shame that the media is trying to create around women’s pleasure. If you’re interested in squirting, then you should definitely read a few guides as well as first-hand recounts of people actually squirting. Don’t read the scientific studies because they’ll only disappoint. Read about the hundreds of women writing about squirting on the Internet.

Even if you never learn to squirt or even if you realize that you don’t enjoy it – it can be a fun adventure to try it! Everyone’s body is different so make sure to spend time loving what your body can do! Each body is amazing, and that includes yours too!
